Objective

Increase awareness and promote reservations at client’s hotels among foreign visitors to Japan, especially from Europe and the US.

Challenge

Despite being a medium-sized hotel chain with a clear brand appeal and many Asian customers, reservations were sluggish due to low brand recognition in Europe and America.

Our Solution

We conducted a 3-month test marketing campaign using paid search advertising and demand side platforms (DSP). We then verified feasibility from the perspectives of brand awareness and sales conversion. Based on the test marketing results, we concentrated our efforts on search link ads before expanding to offline operations and broader strategies for acquiring new customers. We assisted the client with strategic planning and created a holistic plan in collaboration with the influencer and PR team.

Outcome

We helped the client grow their customer base especially in Europe and North America. We also introduced them to the importance of utilizing cognitive measures in marketing. Next steps include content creation, such as video production.
